Michael Messina Promoted To Senior Vice President, Labor Relations & Legal Affairs, Warner Bros. Studio Facilities
(May 11, 2000 – Burbank, CA) – Michael Messina has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Labor Relations & Legal Affairs, Warner Bros. Studio Facilities, it was announced today by Jon Gilbert, President, Warner Bros. Studio Facilities.
Messina moves up from his current post of Vice President, Labor Relations, and will continue to be responsible for all labor relations matters for Warner Bros. Studio Facilities (WBSF), including negotiating and administering labor agreements, as well as overseeing all related employment matters for represented employees working for the studio facility. His added duties include oversight of legal affairs for WBSF and the management of WBSF’s business file and film storage operation. He continues to report to Jeff Nagler, Senior Vice President, Business Affairs, WBSF.

Prior to joining Warner Bros. as Vice President, Labor Relations in 1996, Messina served as Vice President, Labor Relations for Sony Pictures Entertainment. Prior to that, he acted as Counsel at the Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers. He also served as an associate attorney at the law firm of Mitchell, Silberberg and Knupp. Messina has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Motion Picture Industry Pension & Health Plans for over fifteen years, and serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Contract Services Administration Trust Fund. Messina holds a B.A. in psychology from Stanford University and a J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law. # # #
