(September 19, 2002 – Glendale, CA) – Warner Bros. Online today announced the promotion of Michael Tritter to the position of Vice President, Theatrical Projects. Tritter had previously been serving as Director, Theatrical Projects where he was responsible for managing the New York-based web site production group. In his new position, Tritter will continue management of theatrical site production, but will broaden his focus to include other interactive marketing disciplines including online advertising and publicity.
Tritter reports to Don Buckley, Senior Vice President, Theatrical Marketing and New Media, Warner Bros. Pictures.
“As we explore wireless, promotional content syndication, strategic promotional gaming initiatives and continue the integration of online and offline movie marketing, it is great to have Michael on the team. He has been with us from the beginning and been a great creative and managerial asset,” said Buckley. “It is a well-deserved promotion.”
Tritter was part of the original in-house web-development team begun by Buckley in 1995 to address the movie marketing potential for the then emerging Internet.
