Midseason Changes On The WB
(February 7, 2005 - Burbank, CA) – The WB Network has moved up the premiere of its new wish-fulfillment reality series, "The Starlet," to March 6 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET), it was announced today by David Janollari, President, Entertainment, of The WB. The premiere date of the new series, starring Academy Award-winning actress Faye Dunaway, was originally scheduled for March 8.
Viewers will get additional chances to catch "The Starlet" when episode two airs in a one-time-only Tuesday timeslot on March 8 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET), followed by an encore of episodes one and two from 8:00-10:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 11. Regular encore performances will air on Thursdays (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) from March 18 through April 14.
In other schedule changes, encore episodes of The WB’s hit supernatural drama, "Charmed," will remain on Sundays, but will air one hour earlier in the 7:00-8:00 p.m. ET timeslot, beginning March 6. "Charmed" will return to original episodes in its regular 8:00-9:00 p.m. ET timeslot on April 10, when the series airs its landmark 150th episode.
Finally, the hit comedy series, "Blue Collar TV," starring Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy, will return to Thursday nights on March 24, (8:00-8:30 p.m. ET).
