Mimi Slavin Named Senior Vice President, Domestic Promotions, Warner Bros. Pictures
(August 8, 2005 - Burbank, CA) - Mimi Slavin has been named Senior Vice President, Domestic Promotions, Warner Bros. Pictures. The announcement was made today by Debbie Miller, Executive Vice President, Domestic Marketing for the Studio.
In her new post, Slavin is responsible for negotiating and managing third-party partnerships that support the domestic release of movies from Warner Bros. Pictures. This includes working with corporate partners and with production, marketing and distribution executives at the Studio, as well as the Global Brand Management teams that oversee cross-divisional branding of Warner Bros. Studios properties.
Slavin most recently served as Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Corporate Integration for Warner Home Video, a position she assumed in March, 1999, after joining WHV as Director of Promotions in December, 1996. Before joining WHV, Slavin was Director of Promotions for Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

Slavin began her career in brand management at Nestle USA, serving in various positions on the product lines; Toll House Morsels and Libby’s Pumpkin. When she left to join Twentieth Century Fox, she had become Promotions Manager for the entire Culinary Division.
Previously, Slavin worked in Publicity for Solters/Roskin/Friedman and as Project Director for Lieberman Research West.
Slavin holds a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Southern California.
