Monique Esclavissat Promoted To Senior Vice President, European Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures
(February 22, 2001 - Burbank, CA) - Monique Esclavissat has been promoted to Senior Vice President, European Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures, it was announced today by Veronika Kwan-Rubinek, President, International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures.
In her new post, Esclavissat will be responsible for regional supervision of Warner Bros. Pictures’ distribution activities in Europe, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She will directly supervise the sales and distribution staff of the European regional office in London, where she’ll be based, as well as work closely with the local affiliate and licensee enterprises to ensure proper and effective execution of distribution strategies.
“Monique has been an integral part of our home office team since she joined the company,” said Kwan-Rubinek. “Her incredible knowledge and understanding of the European theatrical distribution business, as well as the relationships she has established during her career have been and will continue to be invaluable assets to our operation.”
Esclavissat moves up from Vice President, International Theatrical Distribution, a post she assumed upon joining the company in 1998. Prior to this, she worked in London as Vice President, International Sales & Distribution for Castle Rock International. Before that, she served as Sales Director at Mayfair Entertainment, and as an Economist at Daiwa Securities.
Esclavissat has lived in Mexico, France, the UK and Los Angeles, and speaks fluent French, English, Spanish, Italian and some German. # # #
