Nancy Carson Promoted To Senior Vice President, International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures
(April 9, 2001 - Burbank, CA) - Nancy Carson has been promoted to Senior Vice President, International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures, it was announced today by Veronika Kwan-Rubinek, President, International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures.
In her new position, Carson becomes Kwan-Rubinek’s second in command and will assume an expanded responsibility for all matters pertaining to international rights, release dates and theatrical distribution issues for all the films released internationally by Warner Bros. Pictures. She will also continue to work closely with the regional supervisors, field managers, her counterparts in the home office’s marketing, administration and operations departments as well as with the Studio’s theatrical production and distribution partners.
“Nancy has been a real asset to our division over the last five years and will continue to be so in her new expanded position,” said Kwan-Rubinek. “As our global operations continue to grow, we rely on her expertise and business acumen, as well as the relationships she has established in the film business.”
Carson most recently served as Vice President, International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures, a post she was promoted to in April1998, after joining Warner Bros. in June 1996 as Director, International Distribution. Prior to that, Carson served as Director of International Distribution for Morgan Creek International, where she had started as Manager and Financial Analyst. Before that she worked as a financial analyst for Vestron International Group, Inc.
Carson graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in economics and business. # # #
