(May 2, 2019 – Burbank, CA) – New Line Cinema is partnering with BRON Studios on “Those Who Wish Me Dead,” directed by Academy Award nominee Taylor Sheridan (“Wind River”; screenwriter “Hell or High Water,” “Sicario”), from his screenplay based on Michael Koryta's bestselling novel, previously adapted by Charles Leavitt and Michael Koryta. A female-driven neo-Western set against a wildfire in the Montana wilderness, the film begins principal photography this month.
The film is being produced by Film Rites and BRON Studios. Creative Wealth Media will co-finance with New Line Cinema, and Warner Bros. Pictures will handle worldwide marketing and distribution.
Academy Award winner Angelina Jolie (“Girl, Interrupted,” “Maleficent,” “Salt,” “Changeling”) leads the film’s acclaimed ensemble cast including Nicholas Hoult (“Mad Max: Fury Road,” “The Favourite”), Jon Bernthal (“The Wolf of Wall Street,” “Baby Driver,” TV’s “The Walking Dead”), Tyler Perry (the “Madea” franchise, “Vice,” “Gone Girl”), Aidan Gillen (HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” “Bohemian Rhapsody”), Medina Senghore (TV’s “Blindspot”), Finn Little(“Storm Boy”) and Jake Weber (TV’s “Homeland,” Netflix’s “13 Reasons Why”).

Jason Cloth (“The Mule,” “A Simple Favor,” “Fences”) of Creative Wealth Media, Kathryn Dean and Michael Friedman (TV’s “Yellowstone”) are executive producers.
