Production Commences On “Blood Work,” A Warner Bros. Pictures / Malpaso Production Starring Clint Eastwood, Jeff Daniels, Wanda De Jesus And Anjelica Huston
(February 22, 2002 – Burbank, CA) – The suspense thriller “Blood Work,” a Warner Bros. Pictures / Malpaso production starring Clint Eastwood, Jeff Daniels (“Cheaters,” “Pleasantville”), Wanda De Jesus (“Ghosts of Mars,” “Once in the Life”) and Anjelica Huston (“The Royal Tenenbaums,” “The Mists of Avalon”), began filming on February 19, 2002 on location in Southern California, it was announced today by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, President of Worldwide Production, Warner Bros. Pictures.
Directed and produced by Eastwood and co-produced by Judie G. Hoyt from a screenplay by Brian Helgeland, based on the novel by Michael Connelly, “Blood Work” features Eastwood as an FBI profiler who is tracking a serial killer under unusual circumstances involving his own medical history and blood analysis.
The film is scheduled for two months production, including locations in Los Angeles’s San Fernando Valley and Long Beach, as well as soundstages at Warner Bros. Studios.
The film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, an AOL Time Warner Company. # # #
