Ronald W. Miele And Malcolm Dudley-Smith Promoted To Executive Vice Presidents And Renee I. Wolf Promoted To Senior Vice President, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution
(January 27, 2003 – Burbank, CA) – Ronald W. Miele has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Business Affairs, Operations and General Counsel; Malcolm Dudley-Smith has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Sales and Business Development, and Renee I. Wolf has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Business Affairs and Deputy General Counsel, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution (WBITD), it was announced today by Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, President, Warner Bros. International Television.
Miele will continue to oversee all business and legal matters involving the international television activities of Warner Bros., while assuming greater involvement in the overall business of the division as well as the planning and strategic operations.
Dudley-Smith, who has served as Senior Vice President, Sales & Business Development since 2000, will continue to oversee all of WBITD’s sales activities in Latin America, Asia and Canada, including pay, cable and free TV, as well as being responsible for identifying equity investments and strategic alliances for WBITD internationally.
Wolf, who is currently WBITD’s Vice President, Business Affairs & Deputy General Counsel, will assume day-to-day responsibility of all legal and business affairs operations of the division.

Miele moves up from Senior Vice President, Business Affairs & General Counsel, a post he was promoted to in 1997. He joined Warner Bros. in 1994 as Vice President, Legal and Business Affairs, Warner Bros. International Television. Prior to joining Warner Bros., he worked for six years in various capacities, including Senior Vice President, Business Affairs and Administration, MGM/UA Telecommunications, Inc. and Senior Vice President, Business Affairs-Telecommunications at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc., where he was responsible for managing the business affairs activities of all ancillary markets for domestic and international home video and international pay and free television. Prior to that, he was an attorney in private practice.
Dudley-Smith served as Senior Vice President, Pay-TV and Business Development, a post he was named to in 1996 when he relocated from London to Burbank. He joined Warner Bros. in 1994 as Vice President, Pay-TV and New Technology Licensing – Europe for WBITD.
Prior to joining Warner Bros., Dudley-Smith served as Vice President, Sales and Business Development, United International Pictures Pay TV starting in 1993, where he was responsible for the sales, business development and new technology functions within the partnership of Paramount, MCA/Universal and MGM/UA.
Wolf previously served as Vice President, Legal & Business Affairs, a job she was promoted to in 1998. She joined Warner Bros. in January 1996 as a senior attorney for WBITD. Prior to that, she was an attorney with the law firm of Kaye, Scholer, Fierman, Hays & Handler. She earned her law degree in 1987 from Hastings College of Law at the University of California. She also earned an LLM degree (masters of law) from the London School of Economics. # # #
