Roni Mueller To Head Business Affairs For Warner Bros. Television
(March 7, 2000 – Burbank, CA) – Roni Mueller, Senior Vice President, Business Affairs, has been promoted to head of the business affairs department, it was announced today by Craig Hunegs, Executive Vice President, Warner Bros. Television.
In her new position, Mueller reports to Hunegs, who was recently elevated to Executive Vice President, Warner Bros. Television (2/29/00). Mueller assumes responsibility for all aspects of the division’s talent and network negotiations, and the day-to-day operations of the business affairs department.
“Roni is the natural choice to lead our business affairs team,” said Hunegs. “She has extensive experience, close relationships throughout our company and the industry, and extraordinary creative deal making skills.”
Mueller, who has been a Senior Vice President since 1997, has been with Warner Bros. Television (then Lorimar Television) since 1987. During her tenure, she has played an integral part in the company’s success as key negotiator and business affairs executive on such high profile series as “Friends,” “The Drew Carey Show,” “Norm,” “Veronica’s Closet,” “Jesse” and “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”
Mueller also has served as an adjunct faculty member at Pepperdine Law School teaching copyright and television production law. # # #
