Sue Palladino Promoted To Senior Vice President, Business Affairs, Warner Bros. Television
(January 23, 2007 - Burbank, CA) – Veteran television executive Sue Palladino has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Business Affairs, Warner Bros. Television (WBTV), it was announced today by Brett Paul, WBTV’s Executive Vice President, Business Affairs, Operations and Finance, to whom she will continue to report.
Palladino joined WBTV’s Business Affairs group in 1999 as Vice President and quickly became involved in all facets of the Studio’s business affairs operations. She currently serves as WBTV’s lead business affairs executive on deals for Studio-based producers David Crane (co-creator of “Friends”) and Jeffrey Klarik of craneklarik productions, co-creators and executive producers of “The Class”; Greer Shepard and Michael Robin of The Shepard/Robin Company, executive producers of the top-rated cable drama series “Nip/Tuck” and “The Closer”; and Jenny Bicks, creator and executive producer of freshman drama “MEN IN TREES,” among many others.
“Sue is a smart, progressive executive who has done an outstanding job of representing WBTV in a strong yet equitable manner during negotiations with some of the Studio’s most important creative talent,” said Paul. “She brings the added dimension of someone with a wealth of experience not only in business affairs but in all aspects of television production and operations. I could not be happier to have her on my team and to be able to reward her significant contributions to the Studio with this most-deserved promotion.”
Before joining WBTV, Palladino spent 20 years at Witt-Thomas-Harris Productions, the prolific television and motion picture production company headed by Paul Junger Witt, Tony Thomas and Susan Harris, where she rose steadily to become Executive in Charge of Production. Palladino’s experience spans some of television’s most successful series, including the landmark “Soap,” “Benson,” “It’s a Living,” “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Golden Girls.”
