Consumer Products announced today that they are teaming up with Clear Channel Entertainment and 4Kids Entertainment to feature custom-designed monster trucks in the upcoming Monster Jam® series. DC Comics’ Super Heroes Superman and Batman, as well as Warner Bros. Entertainment’s Tasmanian Devil (Taz) character, will join the Monster Jam® team beginning with the 2005 racing season. These three new, brand-themed monster trucks will enter the Monster Jam® racing and freestyle line-up, where they will have the chance to smash the competition and earn a trip to the World Finals in March. The trucks are designed to bring some of the world’s best-loved characters to Monster Jam® fans everywhere. The Superman truck will make its competition debut at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta on January 8, 2005. Atlanta native, Chad Fortune is scheduled to drive the truck.
