Suzi Civita Named Vice President, Music, Warner Bros. Pictures
(November 5, 2003 – Burbank, CA) – Suzi Civita has been promoted to Vice President, Music, for Warner Bros. Pictures. The announcement was made by Doug Frank, President, Music Operations, Warner Bros. Pictures, and Gary LeMel, President, Worldwide Music, Warner Bros. Pictures.
A 16-year veteran of Warner Bros. Music, Civita functions as a creative liaison between filmmakers, music supervisors and Warner Bros. Pictures. In her new position, Civita will continue working with various feature film projects as well as oversee all music for the Warner Bros. TV Animation division.
She is currently working on the feature films, “NASCAR: The IMAX Experience,” “Taking Lives” as well as the Kids WB and Cartoon Network’s current programming.
"Suzi has proven herself to be an invaluable creative asset to the music division and has established strong artist relationships within the music and film communities. Her experience working in the international entertainment industry will be indispensable in continuing the synergy between our foreign and domestic markets,” said Doug Frank.”
Civita joined the Music division in 1986 and was named a Music Supervisor in 1990. Among the projects that she has worked on are “A Perfect World,” “A Time to Kill,” “Rosewood”, “When Harry Met Sally,” “The Perfect Storm” and “Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood.”
