Ted Rubin Promoted To Vice President, Labor Relations, Warner Bros.
(April 27, 2000 - Burbank, CA) - Ted Rubin has been promoted to Vice President, Labor Relations, Warner Bros., it was announced today by Alan Raphael, Senior Vice President, Industrial Relations, Warner Bros.
Rubin, who had served as Director, Labor Relations since joining the company in 1998, will expand his role and responsibilities in negotiating and administering union and guild collective bargaining agreements for Warner Bros.
Prior to joining Warner Bros., Rubin served as Director, Labor Relations at Sony Pictures Entertainment for two years and spent 14 years as Executive Director, Scenic, Title and Graphic Artists Local 816 IATSE. During his career, Rubin has also worked as a freelance scenic artist and a story analyst for Weintraub Entertainment.
Rubin has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Motion Picture Industry Pension and Health Plans since 1983. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of both the Contract Services Administration Trust Fund and the Directors Guild of America Contract Administration.
Rubin holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from University of Hartford and a master’s in human resources management from Pepperdine University. # # #
