Tony Friscia Named Vice President, Free Television Contract Administration, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution
(November 20, 2000 - Burbank, CA) - Tony Friscia has been named Vice President, Free Television Contract Administration, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution (WBITD), it was announced today by Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, President, Warner Bros. International Television.
In his new position, Friscia will be responsible for free TV and basic subscription contract administration, concentrating specifically on WBITD’s major territories. He will also supervise daily administrative functions in the international sales administration department. Based in Burbank, Friscia will report to John Whitesell, Vice President, International Sales Administration, WBITD.
Friscia has more than 20 years experience in entertainment finance and contract administration and served for the past year as a consultant to WBITD. During his career he has served as Vice President, International Finance and Contract Administration at Orion Pictures Corporation, served as a consultant in television contract and sales administration at Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp, and was Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration, Theatrical at Filmaccord Corporation. Previously, he held financial executive posts with Lorimar Telepictures Corporation, Columbia Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox and Viacom International.
Friscia holds an MBA in finance and economics from St. John’s University in New York and a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY. # # #
