Top Up TV Adds Warner TV Video-On Demand Branded Service
(July 10, 2008 – London) – Top Up TV, a leading provider of premium TV content on Freeview, today announces a strategic agreement with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution (WBITD) to offer exciting new premium entertainment on-demand to Top Up TV Anytime subscribers through Warner TV, a dedicated Warner Bros.-branded video-on-demand (VOD) channel. Programmes from Warner TV have been available since June 30th. In addition, Top Up TV and Warner Bros. Digital Distribution have agreed terms to bring Pay Per View movies to all Top Up TV customers in the future. Planned for launch in within the next few months, this service will give subscribers access to Warner’s new release movies including “I Am Legend,” “10,000 BC,” “The Bucket List,” “Fool’s Gold” and “Sweeney Todd.”
Subscribers to Top Up TV Anytime will be able to enjoy a range of award-winning Warner TV programmes such as “ER,” “Without a Trace,” “Smallville,” “The West Wing,” “Friends” and “Two and a Half Men.” The launch of Warner TV on Top Up TV Anytime continues WBITD’s strategic expansion into branded VOD channels around the world. WBITD has previously launched Warner TV VOD channels with ProSieben in Germany, Virgin Media, BT and Tiscali in the U.K., USEN Corporation’s GyaO in Japan and Free TV in France, with an additional service planned for later this year in India.
Warner TV will join an extensive line-up of leading television brands which have already launched on Top Up TV Anytime, providing subscribers with on-demand access to some of the most popular and acclaimed US and UK programming from channels including the SCI FI channel, National Geographic, LIVING, UKTV GOLD, Paramount Comedy and the History Channel.

This year the UK will start the process of switching over to digital, once customers have Top Up TV they will be watching digital so will be ready for the switch over.
