Tricolor TV Signs Contract with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution
(October 21, 2013 – Moscow) Russia's largest digital television service Tricolor TV has signed a content agreement with major studio Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.
The contract involves broadcasting famous movies and TV series produced by Warner Bros. in the new operating package – SuperKino HD. In the near future, subscribers of SuperKino HD will be able to view some of the world's box office favorites, including “The Devil's Advocate,” “Troy,” “Blood Diamond,” “Sweet November” and “V for Vendetta,” as well as popular TV series, including “Nip/Tuck” and “Without a Trace.”
“Of course, a contract with the world’s largest content-maker Warner Bros. will make the service more attractive to new subscribers,” said the Director of Tricolor TV channel’s development Sergei Zonenliht.
“We are happy to have Tricolor TV as a pay-TV client in Russia and even more pleased that millions of consumers will have access to some of our best television and feature film titles,” added Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, President, Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Distribution.
