Vicky Colf Named Vice President And General Manager Of Warner Bros. Advanced Digital Services And Technology Systems
(November 21, 2006 - Burbank, CA) — Vicky Colf has been named Vice President and General Manager of Warner Bros. Advanced Digital Services and Technology Systems, it was announced today by Darcy Antonellis, Executive Vice President, Distribution & Technology Operations, Warner Bros. Technical Operations.
Colf will oversee the day-to-day operations of Warner Bros. Advanced Digital Services business and technical systems supporting the Studio’s expanding efforts in distributing content through new media outlets including web-based and wireless offerings. Heading the Technical Systems group within Technical Operations, she will also help oversee the implementation of the Studio’s “Digital End to End” (DETE) project which will eventually migrate all aspects of the Studio’s film production and distribution to a completely digital process.
“Warner Bros. Advanced Digital Services represents a realignment and redeployment of our talented technology resources that were previously part of Warner Bros. Online,” said Antonellis. “It will maximize our ability to support the Studio’s digital strategy as well as transition our operations to a digital platform. Vicky brings a terrific understanding of these opportunities both from a business perspective and from the technical side which makes her the perfect choice.”
Colf joined Warner Bros. Entertainment as Vice President, Corporate Business Development and Strategy in 2004. Prior to that, she was a consultant working on Warner Bros. projects in Digital Asset Management and Anti-piracy, first as a Senior Manager for Accenture from 2000 to 2004 and then as a Manager at Strategic Vision from March to October 2004. Prior to that she was Director of Application Development for Digital Brandcasting Corporation from 1999 to 2000 and was a Contractor at Dreamworks Records from 1998 to 1999. She began her career as a Consultant for Anderson Consulting in 1995.
Colf graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Harvey Mudd College.
Colf is headquartered in Burbank and reports to Antonellis.# # #
