(October 9, 2006 - Burbank, CA) - Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) has appointed leading interactive toy developer, Thinkway Toys, the master toy licensee for the Scooby-Doo franchise. As part of the relationship, Thinkway Toys will introduce an all-new line of action figures and toys based on the wildly successful crime fighting cast of Scooby-Doo. As master licensee, Thinkway Toys will bring to life the all-time favorite characters of the Scooby-Doo franchise, developing a product line featuring interactive vehicles and action figures, as well as plush and various other preschool focused toys. “Scooby-Doo is a legendary classic character with a tremendous presence in the global marketplace,” said Karen McTier, Executive Vice President of Domestic Licensing and Worldwide Marketing, Warner Bros. Consumer Products. “Thinkway Toys is the perfect partner to add a fresh dimension to the toy line based on the 'Scooby-Doo' franchise.” Thinkway Toys’ new Scooby-Doo action figures feature five different themed versions of Scooby and Shaggy, as well as an all new version of their infamous vehicle, The Mystery Machine, which opens up to reveal a projectile launcher on the van bed. The new toy line will also include plush figures of all Scooby-Doo characters and talking themed plush figures of Scooby and Shaggy. Additional toys include a remote controlled skateboarding Scooby, mini wacky vehicles, a camera showing colorful Scooby-Doo scenes with talking sound effects and a flip cell phone with Scooby-Doo voice and sound effects. “Scooby-Doo is a timeless character who appeals to a broad audience,” said Albert Chan, President and CEO of Thinkway Toys. “We are thrilled to expand our relationship with Warner Bros.
