Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution Promotes Lorring Allyn And Allen Etherton To Vice President Posts In Finance
(December 22, 2009 – Burbank, CA) – Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution has promoted Lorring Allyn and Allen Etherton to vice president posts in the division’s finance department. The announcement was made today by Andy Lewis, Executive Vice President & General Administrative Manager, WBDTD.
Lorring Allyn has been named Vice President, Financial Reporting & Accounting. In his new position, he will supervise the financial reporting, accounting and creation of financial statements – profit and loss, balance sheet, etc. – for WBDTD, spanning the syndication, cable, and pay television marketplaces. Allyn will also provide financial counsel for many of WBDTD’s operational activities and contribute to WBDTD’s regulatory compliance efforts.
Allen Etherton has been promoted to Vice President, Finance, where he will oversee financial forecasting and analysis for WBDTD’s distribution activities, including annual budgeting, long term planning, pro formas and new business initiatives. In this position, he will be responsible for the budgeting, estimating, monitoring and tracking of program activity for WBDTD, including barter revenue, cash license fees (syndication and cable), and other related revenue for both television and theatrical motion picture titles, among other responsibilities.
Allyn and Etherton will continue to report to Roxanne Modjallal, WBDTD’s Senior Vice President, Finance.

Allyn is an 11-year veteran of the Studio, having held a variety of progressively responsible positions in the WBDTD finance group since 1998. Most recently, Allyn served as Executive Director of Financial Reporting & Accounting. Allyn earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
Immediately prior to his promotion, Etherton had served as Executive Director, Finance, at WBDTD, since 2005. Before that, he was Director, Finance, at Paramount Domestic Television, supervising financial affairs for “Entertainment Tonight” and other first-run syndicated programs. Previously, Etherton was Manager, Finance, in Warner Bros. Entertainment’s corporate finance department, overseeing participations audit. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Anderson School of Business at the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Cal Poly Pomona. # # #
