International Television Distribution and PROMAX&BDA have announced a contest to find the best international on-air promotional spots for Warner Bros.-distributed product. The contest is open to all broadcasters outside the U.S. and the spots can be for current or library titles of Warner Bros. theatrical, television or animated product. Warner Bros. International Television Distribution marketing executives from around the world will serve as the contest’s judges and they’ll be rating the spots on three criteria-creativity/originality, impact, and achieving campaign objective. First prize for the contest is $1500, plus airfare and free admission to the 2002 PROMAX&BDA Conference in Los Angeles, June 26-29. Second and third prizes are cash and a collection of DVDs from Warner Home Video.
