(March 14, 2001 - Burbank, CA) - America Online (AOL), Warner Bros. Online, Warner Bros. Television, and The WB have teamed up for a sweepstakes celebrating the special relationship between mothers and daughters as seen in Warner Bros. Television's "Gilmore Girls." Based on the theme of this critically acclaimed drama about a single mother struggling to raise her teenage daughter, the sweepstakes asks entrants to complete a brief questionnaire about their own mother-daughter relationships. The grand prize is a trip for two to Hollywood to visit the set and meet the some of the series' stars. The sweepstakes runs through March 30 and the winner will be chosen through a random drawing in April. AOL's more than 28 million members can access the sweepstakes at AOL Keyword: Gilmore Girls (contest rules and information available here). The AOL area also contains special sneak peeks of upcoming "Gilmore Girls" episodes. In response to the series' continually growing popularity, www.gilmoregirls.com and AOL Keyword: Gilmore Girls let visitors celebrate all things "Gilmore," including an episode guide, character and actor bio information, behind-the-scenes photos, chat areas and message boards. Future elements planned for the "Gilmore Girls" online areas include video clips, Web cards, memorabilia and other exclusive elements.
