“The Matrix Revolutions” is released worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, and in select territories by Village Roadshow Pictures.
*Note to Editors:
• Opening day worldwide box office results are reflective of an abbreviated day in all countries outside of the U.S. and Canada.
• “Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers” includes late-Tuesday screening grosses in excess of $3 million in their Wednesday totals; without those dollars, they are ranked third behind “The Matrix Revolutions.”
