Warner Bros. Television Solidifies Development Team
(July 22, 2004 – Burbank, CA) - Heather Kadin is named Vice President, Drama Development; Lisa Lang shifts from WBTV Current Programs to Vice President, Comedy Development and Rachel Kaplan moves up to Vice President, Drama Development, it was announced today by Len Goldstein, Executive Vice President, Development, Warner Bros. Television.
“This completes what I believe is an outstanding development team,” said Goldstein. “Heather and Lisa are talented and experienced executives with great relationships in the community. Rachel has done an outstanding job and we are delighted to acknowledge her achievements.”
Kaplan joined the company in August 2002 as Director, Drama Development, working on “The O.C.,” “The Mountain,” “Dr. Vegas,” and “Jack and Bobby.” Prior to Warner Bros., she co-founded Broker-Bronte Productions, where she developed and co-Executive Produced MTV’s “The Lyricist Lounge Show.”
Lang, who joined the company in August 2003, leaves her position as Vice President, Current Programs, where she had oversight of “Two and a Half Men,” “I’m With Her,” and “All About the Andersons.” Previously, Lang served as head of comedy development for Universal Television and as a development executive at Columbia TriStar Television.
Kadin, who joined the studio in June 2004, served as Vice President, Drama Series, ABC Entertainment. During her three years at ABC, she had oversight of the drama “Alias” and worked closely with Creator/Executive Producer J.J. Abrams on the development of his new series “Lost.” In addition, Kadin served as the development executive on “Eyes,” “Desperate Housewives,” “Life As We Know It,” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” Prior to ABC, Kadin oversaw feature development at Universal based Shady Acres Entertainment.
