Warner Home Video Appoints Elyse Eisenberg Vice President, Worldwide Acquisitions
(January 7, 2004 – Burbank, CA) - Warner Home Video (WHV) has appointed Elyse Eisenberg Vice President, Worldwide Acquisitions effective immediately, as announced today by Marsha King, Executive Vice President and General Manager, WHV. In this new position Eisenberg will be responsible for the division’s worldwide acquisitions program, which includes theatrical features, non-theatrical properties and other audio visual product.
“WHV has the strongest distribution system in the home video industry, with affiliates in 26 countries and distribution in 82 territories. Sourcing new product and acquiring additional quality library product is key to our continued growth,” said King. “With Elyse’s knowledge and experience in the acquisitions arena, she will be invaluable in helping building successful new lines of product. She has a proven track record in this role and we are pleased to welcome her back to the WHV team.”
Eisenberg was previously with Warner Bros. as Vice President, Worldwide Acquisitions where she had was responsible for acquiring feature films for theatrical release. She began her career with WHV as Director of Programming responsible for acquiring independent films, music videos and other original productions for the division, and was later promoted to Vice President, Worldwide Video Acquisitions. Most recently she has been a producer with Red Romeo Productions and a consultant to several international film distribution companies. She holds a BA in Art History from Boston University.
