Warner Home Video Takes NHL Fans Inside The Glass With Their Favorite Players With Release Of “NHL All-Access” On DVD
(December 20, 2007 – Burbank, CA) – Just in time for the exciting finish of the National Hockey League (NHL) regular-season and the start of the Stanley Cup playoffs, Warner Home Video (WHV) and the NHL are teaming up to give hockey fans a special DVD. “NHL All-Access” provides fans an all-access pass to their favorite NHL superstars and teams, a glimpse behind the curtain of the greatest show on ice. Powered by sights and sounds of the game rarely seen and heard, “All Access” will have fans rushing to stores on March 25, 2008 when the DVD hits retail outlets for a $19.98 SRP. Order due date is February 19, 2008.
The latest installment in this popular series, “NHL ALL-Access” documents the lives NHL stars lead -- particularly their pursuits away from the ice, when they aren’t in uniform. From racing cars to hibachi cooking to the tradition of being allowed to spend private time with the Stanley Cup, this DVD takes fans where they have never gone before.
“All Access” charts the lives of the game’s greatest players including superstars such as Sidney Crosby, Alexander Ovechkin, Rick DiPietro, and Henrik Zetterberg. Join these top players as they take you through the life of an NHL star, from the moment they’re drafted to the moment they hoist the Stanley Cup.
“Warner Home Video is ecstatic to give NHL fans a DVD that will give them the chance to follow their favorite NHL stars through the everyday rigors of the NHL season,” said Don Polite, WHV Executive Director, Sports Marketing. “‘NHL ALL-Access,’ which has all of the heart-stopping on-ice action, also shows fans what it feels like to be an NHL player on and off the ice.”
