Warner Horizon Television Signs Exclusive, Multiyear Development And Production Agreement With Emmy®-Award Winning Producer Lisa Levenson
(August 7, 2008 – Burbank, CA) – Warner Horizon Television has signed an exclusive overall development and production deal with Emmy® Award-winning television producer Lisa Levenson (“The Bachelor,” “Big Brother,” “General Hospital”), it was announced today by Craig Erwich, Executive Vice President, Warner Horizon Television and Brooke Karzen, Senior Vice President, Alternative Series, Warner Horizon Television (WHTV).
Under terms of the multiyear agreement, Levenson – who has worked closely with Warner Bros. during her tenure with Next Entertainment’s Mike Fleiss as executive producer on his “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” franchises, among other projects – will develop and produce new unscripted/reality programming for both the broadcast network and cable marketplaces, as well as potentially for digital. All projects will be produced in association with WHTV, with Warner Bros. International Television acquiring global distribution and international format production rights.

A highly respected producer with a background in both scripted and unscripted programming, Levenson has left her creative stamp on some of the most successful shows on television. She served as co-executive producer and executive producer on the hit relationship series “The Bachelor,” as well as the first three seasons of “The Bachelorette,” working on the “The Bachelor” from its inception through the 11th installment.
She served as supervising producer of the second season of “Big Brother” and was part of the team widely credited with reinvigorating the series and establishing the creative blueprint for the future of the program, now in its 10th season.
Levenson also produced the long-running daytime drama “General Hospital,” for which she received two Daytime Emmy® Awards.
