The WB Leaps Into The New Year With A JKX Marathon Featuring Favorite Moments With David Schwimmer And Sacramento Kings’ Star Mike Bibby On Thursday, January 2, 2003
(December 18, 2002 – Burbank, CA) — The WB kicks off the New Year with a full two hours of laughs starring Jamie Kennedy in “JKX: THE JAMIE KENNEDY EXPERIMENT” on Thursday, January 2 from 8:00 – 10:00 p.m. ET showcasing special encore presentations of hilarious JKX episodes.
At 8:00 p.m. ET, The WB presents the ‘Tao of Kennedy.’ Crashing a yoga class, Jamie Kennedy plays a very un-Zen-like Yogi who toes the line of sexual harassment with his female students and loses his cool with a huge construction worker who positions Kennedy in a pose that not even Buddha could endure. At 8:30 p.m. ET, Kennedy is thrilled to create some chaos with his friendly accomplice David Schwimmer, who interviews an aspiring assistant who hopes to work with him, that is until he finds out his first assignment is to fire David’s old assistant (Kennedy) - who won’t leave without a fight.
Finally, Kennedy hits Las Vegas in a special one-hour encore presentation from 9:00 – 10:00 p.m. ET. From the Palms Hotel, Kennedy disguises himself as a rude blackjack dealer and teams up with Sacramento Kings basketball player Mike Bibby to play a trick on Gavin Maloof, who owns both the casino and the Sacramento Kings. Jamie also dons a wedding dress and prepares to meet his future in-laws who have no idea their son is about to marry a post-op transsexual.
From executive producers Jamie Kennedy, Fax Bahr & Adam Small, Mike Karz and Brian Hartt, the series is produced by Bahr Small Productions and Karz Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television Production and Big Ticket Television, A Paramount / Viacom Company. # # #
