The WB Transitions Friday Night Comedy Block To Their Future Fall Home On Sundays
(June 23, 2000 – Burbank, CA) – The WB is heating up its Sunday schedule this summer in an effort to warm it up for the fall. The network will begin airing “THE STEVE HARVEY SHOW,” “FOR YOUR LOVE” and “THE JAMIE FOXX SHOW” on Sundays, where they will move this fall, from 8:00-9:30 p.m. ET, beginning this Sunday, June 25. The comedies will also air on Friday nights for the time being.
Beginning on Sunday, June 25, the Sunday line-up will include original episodes of “MISSION HILL,” an animated comedy, which debuted this fall, at 9:30-10:00 p.m. ET. Along with “MISSION HILL,” The WB’s Sunday schedule will feature “7TH HEAVEN BEGINNINGS” at 7:00-8:00 p.m. ET, followed by “THE STEVE HARVEY SHOW” at 8:00-8:30 p.m. ET, “FOR YOUR LOVE” at 8:30-9:00 p.m. ET and “THE JAMIE FOXX SHOW” at 9:00-9:30 p.m. ET.
The Friday line-up will kick off with back-to-back episodes of “THE JAMIE FOXX SHOW” from 8:00-9:00 p.m. ET, followed by “THE STEVE HARVEY SHOW” at 9:00-9:30 p.m. ET and “FOR YOUR LOVE” at 9:30-10:00 p.m. ET.
An announcement about The WB’s Friday summer line-up will be released as early as next week. # # #
