International Television’s Web site (www.wbitv.com) saw more than a 50% year-to-year increase in page visits for the three weeks it hosted its “VIP Cyber Screenings,” tied to the annual LA Screenings. This year, the site received 385,052 page views versus last year’s 245,332 over the same period of time. This is the second year in a row WBIT provided its clients around the world with exclusive previews of television series being offered at the LA Screenings before they left their home countries via online “VIP Cyber Screenings.” These video clips from each new and returning series were available to WBIT clients concurrent with the U.S. networks’ announcements of series pickups.
