SDCC: Frank Miller Makes a Surprise Stop by the "DC Master Class" Panel at Comic-Con San Diego!
Fresh off of his completion of “Batman: The Dark Knight: Master Race,” Miller stopped by to chill with his friends and fellow artists as they talked with Dan about their various upcoming projects for “Dark Nights: Metal,” “Dark Matter” and other upcoming books. Not wanting to be left out, Frank decided to up the ante, revealing that he had news of his own: not one, but two new DC titles in the works! His one-two punch consisted of revealing art of his 1940’s noir take on the flame haired gun-toting heroine “Madame .44,” followed by his concept art for an original graphic novel project he’s really excited about: “Superman: Year One.”
At Comic-Con this year, Dan DiDio’s- panels have given fans the following exclusive news: new details on Grant Morrison’s “Wonder Woman Earth One Volume Two,” new “Dark Matter” titles, Jeff Lemire’s return to DC, and two new titles from one of the greatest writers in comic book history, Frank Miller.
