www.warnerbros.com Launches Exclusive Webcast Concert OfThe Crystal Method
(August 31, 2001 - Glendale, CA) - Starting today, The Crystal Method will take the main stage at Warner Bros. Online, www.warnerbros.com, with an exclusive concert performance featuring hits from their latest album, “Tweekend,” which is number one on Billboard’s Electronic Albums list.
Currently on a national tour, The Crystal Method (bandmates Scott Kirkland and Ken Jordan) perform the hit single "Busy Child" from their debut album "Vegas," in this multi-camera, full-length concert, captured for Warner Bros. Online by director Kevin Kerslake from a performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver. The concert presentation also features special behind-the-scenes interviews and incredible visuals of the only geologically formed open-air amphitheatre in the world.
Recognized as America’s most popular electronic act after the release of 1997’s "Vegas," The Crystal Method released their highly anticipated follow up album, “Tweekend,” which includes the current chart-climbing single "Name of the Game,” on July 31.
One of music’s preeminent video directors, Kerslake has worked with such bands as Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, The Rolling Stones and R.E.M. In shooting The Crystal Method, he employed state-of-the-art technology and special effects to give fans an extraordinary up close and personal feeling with the band and the natural acoustic grandeur of Red Rocks.
