“Terminator 3: Rise Of Machines” To Be Celebrated With Debut Of “T3 Radio” From Warner Bros. Pictures And KROQ
(June 30, 2003 – Burbank, CA) – In celebration of “TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES,” Warner Bros. Pictures and world-famous KROQ are partnering to bring “T3 Radio” to the airwaves in Westwood Village and worldwide on the internet. Hosted by KROQ’s Scorch, “T3 Radio” provides wall-to-wall Terminator information, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For four weeks, “T3 Radio” will broadcast “Terminator” cast and crew interviews and behind-the-scenes information, as well as music from the film, including The Blue Man Group’s “The Current,” featuring Gavin Rossdale.
In conjunction with the world premiere of “TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES,” there will be an exclusive unveiling of a 40-foot replica of Arnold Schwarzenegger as the “Terminator” at the Mann Village Theater tonight at 6:00 p.m., Monday, June 30. The LED light in the gargantuan 40-foot Terminator’s eye will act as a beacon for “T3 Radio” and launch the Terminator radio station with a live feed covering celebrity arrivals at the premiere. This dedicated station will transmit in the Westwood Village area on the 87.7 FM frequency and will also be available on the web at www.T3Radio.com. “T3 Radio” is also sponsored by MGM Home Entertainment, Artisan Entertainment and www.Terminator3shop.com.
“TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES” will be released domestically by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2003, with special sneak previews beginning on Tuesday, July 1.
Mario F. Kassar and Andrew G. Vajna present a Jonathan Mostow Film, an Intermedia/IMF Production, in association with C2 Pictures and Mostow/Lieberman Productions, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, “TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES.” The film also stars Nick Stahl, Claire Danes and Kristanna Loken. Directed by Jonathan Mostow, “TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES” is produced by Mario F. Kassar, Andrew G. Vajna, Joel B. Michaels, Hal Lieberman and Colin Wilson. The screenplay is by John Brancato & Michael Ferris, based on a story by John Brancato & Michael Ferris and Tedi Sarafian. The executive producers are Intermedia Chairman Moritz Borman along with Guy East, Nigel Sinclair and Gale Anne Hurd.
“TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES” has been rated R by the MPAA for “strong sci-fi violence and action, language and brief nudity.”
