(December 15, 2004 – Burbank, CA) - Respected marketing executive Gaetano Mastropasqua has been named Senior Vice President, Corporate Global Promotions and Partner Relations, Warner Bros. Entertainment, it was announced today by Diane Nelson, Executive Vice President, Global Brand Management, Warner Bros. Entertainment. Warner Bros. Global Brand Management’s directive is to support the Studio’s overall event and brand strategies, working as a broad-spectrum resource, collaborating and partnering cross-divisionally to optimize a property’s windows throughout its life. In his newly created position on the Brand Management team, Mastropasqua will work with the in-place promotion teams across the Studio to create new and maximize existing cross-company promotional and marketing opportunities with corporate partners on Warner Bros.’ key properties and brands. Based in Burbank, Mastropasqua will report directly to Nelson. “Having Gaetano on board to work with the Studio’s promotions teams and our corporate partners will not only allow us to maximize every appropriate promotional opportunity available, but also help ensure that our marketing efforts deliver an effective, focused and consistent message for our signature properties as well as meaningful value for our partners and their brands,” said Nelson. “His background, his expertise and corporate relationships make him uniquely qualified for this position. I’m thrilled that he’s joined.” Mastropasqua joins Warner Bros. Entertainment from Equity Marketing, Inc., where he served as the company’s President, after having moved up the ranks in various marketing and promotion executive roles within the company. Prior to Equity Marketing, Mastropasqua spent seven years at American Express Travel Related Services, most recently as Vice President, Global Business Development Strategy. Mastropasqua began his career at Arthur Andersen Management Consultants, holding various management positions in Montreal, Chicago, Paris and Milan. Fluent in English, Italian, French, Spanish and German, Mastropasqua holds bachelor’s of commerce degree from McGill University in Montreal and a master’s degree in management from Northwestern University.
