(March 15, 2017 – Burbank, CA) – Industry veteran Julian Montoya has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Global Toys for Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP). Montoya will assume the position immediately and report directly to Pam Lifford, President, WBCP.
In his new role, Montoya will develop and direct global sales and licensing strategies that fuel long-term revenue growth and build key brands such as DC, J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World, Looney Tunes, and Hanna-Barbera.

Prior to this promotion, Montoya served as Vice President, Global Toys for WBCP, where he was responsible for business development initiatives to maximize revenue, retail presence and market share for WB’s portfolio. During his tenure, Montoya was instrumental in the development of the toy category for consumer products including developing and executing strategic category plans and managing premier partners such as Mattel, LEGO, FUNKO, Rubies and Jakks Pacific.
Before joining WBCP in 2000 as Director, Business Development – Latin America, Montoya held leadership positions at Lucas Licensing, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment International and Warner Home Video.
