Warner Home Video DVD Decision 2003 Winners Debut January 6
(October 1, 2003 – Burbank, CA) – The public has spoken. The DVD Decision™ 2003 winners – “Days of Wine and Roses,” “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,” “The Postman Always Rings Twice,” “The Wind and the Lion” and “Where the Boys Are” -- are set to debut on DVD January 6, 2004 from Warner Home Video (WHV). The winning films, representing nearly 40 years of film history, have been carefully remastered and enhanced with hours of bonus features and special content including commentaries, documentaries, shorts and making-of featurettes. Each DVD will sell for $19.98 SRP.
DVD Decision™ was the joint promotion from Warner Home Video (WHV), AOL Movies® (AOL) and Turner Classic Movies® (TCM) which gave the public an unprecedented opportunity to vote online for which five of 20 classic catalog candidates from the Warner Bros. Studios library would be chosen. The five film winners represent a wide range of films and feature such stars as Spencer Tracey, Jack Lemmon, Lee Remick, Sean Connery, John Garfield, Ingrid Bergman and Lana Turner.
