Alloy Entertainment is a creative think tank and full-service editorial partner that develops and produces original books, television series and feature films. The company, which became part of Warner Bros. Television Group in 2012, generates unique commercial entertainment franchises and collaborates with authors, leading publishers, television networks and movie studios to deliver its properties to the world.

Alloy Entertainment produces approximately 30 new books a year, which are published globally in over 40 languages. More than 80 of Alloy Entertainment’s books have reached the New York Times Best Sellers list, including most recently The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon, The Thousandth Floor by Katharine McGee, Max by Jennifer Li Shotz and 99 Days by Katie Cotugno. Previous bestselling franchises The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars and The 100 have sold tens of millions of copies worldwide. These titles have also been adapted into hit films and TV shows, with Alloy Entertainment becoming one of the most successful producers of primetime television series since 2007.

In addition to commercial success, Alloy’s books have also received widespread acclaim. American Street by Ibi Zoboi was a 2017 National Book Award Finalist. Nicola Yoon won the Coretta Scott King-Steptoe Award for New Talent, and her novel The Sun is Also a Star was a 2016 National Book Award Finalist, a Printz Honor book and a Walter Dean Myers Award Honor book. Meredith Russo’s If I Was Your Girl won the Stonewall Award for teens, was nominated for a Lambda Literary Award and was also a Walter Honor book.

A new television series adaptation of You, based on the novel by Caroline Kepnes, will premiere on Lifetime in 2018. Alloy Entertainment is currently developing a dozen feature films, including The Sun is Also a Star, Thirteen Little Blue Envelopes, The Merciless and Taking Flight. Everything, Everything, based on Alloy’s bestselling book was released in May 2017 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
