Blair Rich

President, Worldwide Marketing, Warner Bros. Pictures

Blair Rich serves as President, Worldwide Marketing, Warner Bros. Pictures, where she oversees the development and execution of all marketing campaigns for the Studio’s global releases.   Additionally, she has full marketing oversight on all releases from New Line Cinema as well as all titles produced by the Studio’s longtime production partners, Alcon and MGM.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ worldwide creative advertising, domestic publicity, domestic media, global digital and global promotions teams report directly to Rich; she shares oversight of the worldwide research group. Additionally, the international marketing operation collaborates closely with Rich to ensure global strategic alignment of theatrical campaigns. She works closely with Sue Kroll, President Worldwide Marketing and Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures, on overall strategy and long-term planning for the theatrical marketing group.

During her tenure, Rich has helped direct campaigns for a number of Warner Bros. Pictures’ critical and global box office hits, including the Harry Potter films, Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy, The Hobbit franchise, The Conjuring films, Gravity, Argo, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and The LEGO Batman Movie. Among the films her team will work on in 2017 are Kong: Skull Island, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Wonder Woman, Dunkirk, Annabelle, It, The LEGO Ninjago Movie, Blade Runner 2049 and Justice League, among others.

Prior to her current role, Rich served as Executive Vice President, Worldwide Marketing, Warner Bros. Pictures. Before that, she was Senior Vice President, Marketing and Creative Advertising for the Studio’s international film division, having previously served as Vice President. After graduating from Georgetown University in 1997, Rich joined Warner Bros. Pictures International as a Marketing Trainee.  She quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a director in 2002.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Rich serves on the board of directors of LA Family Housing, whose mission is to help families transition out of homelessness and poverty through a continuum of housing enriched with supportive services.
