Imagine Entertainment, Animal Logic Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures Group Form Strategic Film Partnership
(May 22, 2018 – Los Angeles, CA) – Imagine Chairmen Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, Animal Logic Group CEO Zareh Nalbandian and Warner Bros. Pictures Group Chairman Toby Emmerich today announced that the three companies have entered into a five-year partnership to co-produce and co-finance a slate of animated and hybrid family films.
The companies will share a development fund, with financing, production responsibilities and company credit being determined on a picture-by-picture basis. All films produced under this partnership will be distributed globally by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Imagine has long been recognized as one the most successful independent storytellers in the entertainment industry. The studio’s previous forays into family entertainment include “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” and the Emmy Award-winning series “Curious George.”
Animal Logic’s successes include a number of collaborations with Warner Bros. Pictures, including the Best Animated Feature Oscar winner “Happy Feet,” the hugely successful “The LEGO Movie” and “The LEGO Batman Movie.” The companies are currently in production on “The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part.” Animal Logic Entertainment recently produced “Peter Rabbit” released globally by Columbia Pictures in early 2018.
Warner Bros. Pictures Group and its Warner Animation Group produce both animated titles and live action/animated hybrid films for release each year, including “Teen Titans Go! to the Movies,” opening July 27 and “Smallfoot,” slated for a September 28 release.
